First Solar悲慘命運可能原因有兩個
-Silicon陣營成本巨幅向下調整, 速度遠快於First Solar的CdTe cost down速度. (就目前而言, CdTe成本還是最具競爭力)
-大型電廠經營的後續成本可能遠高於First Solar之前想像
反觀SunPower還能技壓中國Silicon technology based大玩家, 除了中國廠商受制於輕微的反傾銷稅外, 主要是SunPower Cost down的管理也做得相當出色, 才能讓Gross Margin緩步爬升, 這點應該也是觀察未來各大太陽能廠誰能較有機會倖存的criteria之一.
